Handicapper System: Leveling the Playing Field
At “Clash on the Track,” we aim to make every event competitive and exciting. Our Handicapper System ensures fairness in matchups, especially in gender-based clashes and crossover sports challenges.
Factors Considered:
- Performance Metrics: Recent race times, personal bests, and official competition records.
- Sporting Background: Differences in athletic disciplines (e.g., sprinters vs. soccer players).
- Gender-Based Adjustments: Physiological differences between male and female athletes.
- Endurance and Skill Gaps: For mixed-distance events, endurance and skill are factored in.
Examples of Handicapped Matchups:
| Event | Athletes | Handicap |
|---|---|---|
| 100M Battle of the Sexes | Usain Bolt (Sprinter) vs. Dina Asher-Smith (Sprinter) | Bolt runs 100m, Asher-Smith runs 95m |
| Mixed-Sport Clash | NFL Player vs. Track Athlete | NFL player starts 10m ahead |
